The Privacy Sandbox UI Design

The Privacy Sandbox is an initiative by Google that aims to create technologies to protect people's privacy online and provides companies/developers the tools they need to build thriving digital businesses. The purpose of the multi-page website is to educate, support, and connect users to the new privacy-enhancing technology proposals. The visual identity of the website aims to embody established Google brand guidelines, while also incorporating a distinctive and inviting style that encourages users to freely engage and become part of the community.

My Role: As the lead designer, I collaborated closely with a creative director, project managers, QA testers, and developers, assuming the roles of both visual designer and user experience designer. My primary responsibilities included creating exploratory wireframes to present various options to our clients, updating design system components, crafting custom illustrations, and developing high-fidelity visual designs ready for implementation.

Working within a fast-paced environment, I demonstrated exceptional efficiency in delivering results. Notably, I successfully produced over 20 custom illustrations, with ongoing contributions to additional assets intended for future use on the website. Additionally, I crafted more than 5 fully responsive screen designs, meticulously considering accessibility standards to ensure an inclusive user experience.
